That just boggles my mind that a physician, almost 2000 years ago, already knew that opium was addictive. It sure didn't stop its use then and I doubt that it will happen now. Very sad.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to believe that a flower that is so pretty can cause so much damage and heart ache to so many.
ReplyDeleteI guess it just goes to show you that where there is will, there is a way. Legal or not doesn't seem to have a bearing on drugs.
